Lil Twist is a 16-year old rapper from Dallas, TX, who was discovered by Lil Wayne after opening for him at a local concert. Lil Wayne was so impressed with Twist?s flow that he flew him to Atlanta to see if his stage performance would translate in the studio. Needless to say, Twist passed the test with flying colors and was signed to YME. But while Lil Twist is young, he?s certainly not a rookie. At age 10, he scored a No. 1 hit in Dallas for six consecutive weeks with a track called ?Texas Twist.? Beyond music, he just completed filming a movie with Ice Cube and Bow Wow called Lottery Ticket. It should come as no surprise that Lil Twist?s music is shaped around his strong work ethic.
