A native of New Orleans? 9th Ward, T-Streetz played basketball, football, and baseball as a teenager and originally set out to pursue a career in sports. But he fell in love with hip-hop around the time he first met Lil Wayne when he was 12 years old. Inspired by artists as varied as Soulja Slim and UGK to Keith Sweat and Anita Baker, he picked up the microphone professionally at age 17. When asked to describe his music, T-Streetz will tell you ?I don?t make music for children, plain and simple. Put a sticker on my album. There is no sugar-coating to what I have to say.
